About me, Sarah

My journey into counseling began with my love of helping others through education. Working with high school students and their families allowed me to gain understanding into the diverse emotional needs of my community. I witnessed students, teachers, and parents struggle with anxiety and depression, grief, stress, and relationship issues. I found that many times, what they needed was someone who would listen and guide them in a non judgmental way. As a counseling intern, I worked specifically with student athletes and students who were experiencing a wide variety of mental health struggles. Being a part of the success of my students and their families created a desire in me to help others outside of the school setting.

My focus is to help clients overcome obstacles, build resilience, and take control of their lives during pivotal times like academic struggles, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My compassionate, solution-focused approach empowers clients to become the best version of themselves and achieve fulfillment. I work with teens, young adults, adults and couples looking to improve their lives, relationships, and overall well being. Together, we will develop a plan to help you create the life and happiness you deserve.
